  • Billings Symphony.  "As a nonprofit organization, the Billings Symphony Society serves Eastern Montana and Northern Wyoming with the only symphonic orchestra and chorale in the region. The Symphony annually performs concerts and educational services throughout the region, including seven season concerts, two free full orchestra concerts (a winter Youth Concert at the Alberta Bair Theater and a summer community concert, Symphony in the Park), and more than 50 education/outreach site visits by individual members and small ensembles of the orchestra for school children, senior citizens and residents of Yellowstone County and neighboring rural communities. The Billings Symphony annually reaches about 32,000 area residents including adults, youth, children and senior citizens. Outreach programs alone touch the lives of 5,000 to 7,000 children, senior citizens and rural residents. As the regional source of professional musicians and teachers, the Billings Symphony significantly impacts the children and cultural activities in Billings and the surrounding communities."
  • Moss Mansion.  "Step into history with a one-hour guided tour of the Moss Mansion Historic House Museum.  The tour captures early turn-of-the-century life as the Preston Boyd Moss family lived it. Visitors see original draperies, fixtures, furniture, Persian carpets and artifacts displayed in the 1903 red sandstone structure. Designed by the New York architect, Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, designer of the original Waldorf Astoria, Plaza Hotels, Williard Hotel, and Copely Hotel. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places."
  • Western Heritage Center.  "The Western Heritage Center is a regional museum that interprets and reflects the life and culture of the Yellowstone River Valley. Located in downtown Billings in the former Parmly Billings Library, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Western Heritage Center is accredited by the American Association of Museums (AAM) and is an Affiliate of The Smithsonian Institution."
  • Yellowstone Art Museum.  "Over the last 33 years, the Art Museum renovated the 11,500 sq. ft. building and grounds, built a collection of significant contemporary and historical art of the region, annually produced 12 to 15 exhibitions with companion publications, created a state-wide education program, attracted local and regional leaders as trustees, solidified a base of financial support and received accreditation from the American Association of Museums. As a result of these accomplishments, the Yellowstone Art Center received the 1995 Governor's Award for Service to the Arts."
